APZES is a non-profit society that encourages multi-disciplinary cooperation in education and research from a diverse range of public, professionals, industries, academics, and students from different countries in the Australasian region. The membership fee is essential to cover the administration and maintenance costs of the website and its activities. APZES membership would enable their members to:
- Secure discounts on APZES Congress, conferences, symposiums, webinars, workshops, networking event registration fees,
- Showcase their research outcomes to the community of interest,
- Gain access to the practical net-zero community,
- Network with other professionals in intra- or inter-disciplinary research fields,
- Facilitate partnerships with industry partners for grant opportunities and technologies/products commercialisation,
- Be informed about the latest news about practical zero emissions research and impacts through newsletters,
- Promote and support technological innovation and best practices in the Australasian region through international frameworks and standards,
- Engage and collaborate with top leaders and top journal publishers in the related field of practical net-zero emissions
- Gain professional development through APZES events for early- and mid-career net-zero emissions professionals
- Become distinguished internationally with the APZES Fellowship and Awards programme
- Collaborate with APZES Communities (National, Young APZES Professionals, Utilities, Regulators, Fellows)
The APZES membership comprises three categories:
- Individual membership for academics, industries, and the public in general,
- Student membership,
- Corporate membership with the opportunity to advocate your businesses on APZES.
I. Individual membership
Step 1. Registration

APZES individual membership annual fee is AUD $ 60.

2. For registered members, APZES sends out the payment request with the member’s reference number and invoice number. The member will pay according to the invoice.
3. For new members, after receiving their membership registration form, APZES sends out the payment request with the member’s reference number and invoice number. The member will pay according to the invoice.
Step 3. Confirmation of membership registration and payment
The confirmation letter of membership (including membership ID) will be sent to your email after your registration and payment are approved.
II. Student Membership
APZES thrives to support youngsters to present their studies, connect with other students, senior academics and practitioners, exchange ideas and enquire practical support as well as find opportunities to foster their careers. A valid enrolment form (such as a recommendation letter signed by the supervisor OR the enrolment letter) is required to be eligible for student membership.

III. Corporate Membership
Corporate membership is an effective way to promote companies to relevant research communities, form partnerships with top-ranking researchers to find efficient and innovative solutions, and attract high-quality students through the APZES events and websites. The corporate membership will enjoy a 20% discount per employee (including research students). Apart from the benefits of individual membership, corporate membership will benefit from:
- Raise your corporate profile in the profession: As a Corporate Member, your organisation demonstrates a commitment to the profession and excellence within it. This enhances your corporate profile with clients and other stakeholders.
- Access exclusive opportunities: Several opportunities are exclusive to our corporate members. These include using the Corporate Member logo on our website and events.
- Develop your teams: Opportunity to advertise vacancies through the APZES’s social media and jobs board.
The sum of the corporate membership will equal the multiply of the number of employees to AUD $ 48 per capita.
